Karupin Karupin
is Ryoma's Himalayan Cat. He was brought by Ryoma from US and is the
only character that we can see that Ryoma is most attached to. Ryoma
seldom shows feelings to others but to Karupin, you can always see
Ryoma's gentle side. Karupin has also garnered Kaidoh's affections. He
is often mistaken as a white racoon.

The
Freshman Trio - Katsuo,
Horio, Kajirou They
are first years and part of Seigaku Tennis Club. They are also Ryoma's
friends. Of the three, Horio is the most annoying one since he always
brags about his "Two years of Tennis Experience" and is the
know-it-all type. Katsuo is good at cooking and Kajirou likes to get
data using his video camera. |

Mr.
Inoue & Ms. Shiba - The Tennis Pro Magazine They
are reporters from the Tennis Pro magazine who goes into interviews with
the different tennis teams in the region. Mr. Inoue is also Coach
Ryuzaki's friend and a big Nanjirou Echizen fan. Ms. Shiba, on the other
hand, is Mr. Inoue's assistant as well as his photographer. She is also
a Ryoma-sama fan.
